The Henschel Hs. 129 B Tank Hunter was designed as a heavily armed, single seat, ground attack aircraft.  It was used by the German Luftwaffe primarily on the Russian front during World War II.  The first Hs. 129 B-1s were deployed to the Russian front in 1942 where they proved initially to be ineffective due to thei unreliable Gnome-Rhone 12M 14 cylinder engines.  The subsequent variants of this type had improved engines and ungraded armament which allowed them to be very effective in the role of a tank killer.  Included in this 90 piece kit are the following: 1) Armament: 2- 110 pound SC50 bombs, 1-BK3.7-37mm and 1-BK7.5mm anti-tank cannons; 2) Optional parts to build several different Hs 129 B variants; and 3) Authentic markings for Hs 129 B-2/S3 Staffel (II Gruppe) SG.4 from Russia, 1944 and Hs 129 B-3 (WA, IV Gruppe SG.9 Commander, Winter, 1944.  Also included in this package are Superdetail Henschel Hs.129 parts by Hi-Tech and a Squadron crystal clear canopy.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
