The documentary film, Historic Travel - Great Destinations: Robert E. Lee Country takes the viewers in the footsteps of the famous Confederate general during the war that nearly tore America apart.  The film begins on the cobblestone streets of Richmond, Virginia.  Next, travel to Harpers Ferry, then on to the great battlefields of Antietam and Gettysburg.  Finally, travel to Appomattox courthouse where the final chpater of the Civil War was written with the formal surrender of General Lee.  The fascinating personalities and major struggles that shaped the Unitied States of today, will come to life as the viewer explores Robert E.
