The movie, Hostile Waters, is the story of a Soviet nuclear submarine that collides with an American submarine off the coast of Bermuda.  As this crisis unfolds, the captains of both vessels are forced to work together in order to thwart a nuclear meltdown.  This movie is based on an actual event that occurred in 1986 and is documented through the ships' logs and eyewitness accounts.  In the end, Hostile Waters is an action drama that underscores the fear-soaked environment of the Cold War era.  Starring Rutger Hauer, Martin Sheen and Max Von Sydow among others.  Full screen in color.  Release in 1997.  Runtime 94 minutes.
