Iron Eagle is a story of a "hot-shot" teenage pilot who, with the help of a former Air Force ace, steals a pair of F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets and uses them to help him rescue his father who was shot down while flying on a mission over a small Mideast country.  This movie became the first of 3 such movies loosely centered  around the theme of good versus evil.  If nothing else, the movie is entertaining and has a number of cool flying sequences using the F-16 Fighting Falcon.  Starring Louis Gossett, Jason Gedrick and David Suchet.  Fullscreen in color.  Released in 1986. Runtime 117 minutes.
