The Jaguar XKE was a British sports car model built by Jaguar and marketed in the United States from 1961 through 1974.  The high performance Jaguar XKE was a sports car that had good looks and was competitively priced.  The Jaguar came in the following body styles: 1) 2-door coupe; 2) 2-door 2+2 coupe and 3) 2-door convertible.  Engine choices included a 3.8 Liter Inline 6 or 4.2 Liter Inline 6.  This Jaguar has become iconic and is the sentimental favorite of many classic sports car enthusiasts around the world.  This older, out-of-production Jaguar XKE scaled model was released as part of AMT's Junior Collector Series of car kits.  This Jaguar XKE kit includes the following features: 1) Clear plastic window glass areas; 2) Molded in color; 3) Simple snap-together assembly; 4) Simulated chrome plated bumpers, grille and wheels; 5) Sturdy metal axles; 6) Vinyl "rubber-like" tires; and 7) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like-new condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
