The 1969 Pontiac Firebird was built in the last year of the first generation of this pony car manufactured beginning with the 1967 model year.  The 1969 Firebird came either as a two-door convertible or hardtop body style.  The engine options were as follows: 1) 230cu. in. OHC I-6; 2) 326 cu. in. V-8; 3) 350 cu. in. V-8 or 4) 400 cu. in.
