The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was the most feared weapon in the German arsenal during the first year of World War II. It was in a sense, airborne artillery, which when accompanied by mobile ground forces and appropriate fighter cover provided a central component to the term Blitzkrieg or lightning war. The book, Junkers Ju 87 A (MPM Profile), highlights the Luftwaffe's Ju 87 A variant operated early in World War II. Note: this is a Czech publication but does include an English translation of all photograph captions and text. Included in this book are the following: 1) Approximately 19 period black and white photographs; 2) 2 color aircraft profiles; 3) 2 pages of camouflage patterns; and 4) 9 pages of line drawings. Although this book is a foreign publication, it does do a reasonable job of documenting the early A variant of this famous German World War II divebomber. This book is 24 pages and is in very good condition. The author is Miroslav Bily. Edition published in 1991.
