The Junkers Ju 88 was initially designed as a high-speed bomber which could also operate over a wide range  This gave the new plane all the capability needed for other applications.  This Ju 88 C-6 model represents the night fighter variant of this famed German World War II airplane.  The Ju 88 C-6 variant included a new smooth metal nose and incorporated the new FuG 202 Lichtenstein BC search radar.  This kit includes:  1) Destroyer nose with Lichtenstein radar antennae; 2) Surface details with flush metal joints and recessed panel lines; 3) Detailed cockpit with pilot seat; 4) Detailed instrument panel; 5) "Bola" gondola under the fuselage; 6) Detailed hatch; 7) movable propeller and 8) Detailed landing gear.  Authentic decals are included for 2.NJG2 January, 1942, Catania, Sicilia and 4/NJG2, 1942, Pilot Helmut Lent.  The box is in investment grade condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
