The Junkers Ju 88 is numbered among the most versatile fighter-bomber aircraft that has ever been built.  It was utilized by the German Luftwaffe in World War II to perform duties assigned to both fighters and bombers.  Late in the war it was even utilized as a flying bomb.  The Ju 88 was produced beginning in 1939 and by the time production ceased in 1945, over 15,000 units of all variants had been built.  The Ju 88 was powered by two Junkers Jumo 211 J-1 radial engines which gave it a top speed of 273 m.p.h. at 17,500 feet.  The Ju 88 had the following dimensions: 1) Height 15 feet 11 inches; 2) Length 47 feet 1.5 inches and 3) Wingspan 65 feet 10.5 inches.  This older, already built Junkers Ju 88 model was part of the Bachman "Mini-Planes" series available for sale in the late 1960s up through the 1970s.  This Junkers Ju 88 model features the following: 1) Hand decorated; 2) Moving parts and 3) Super detailed.  The box is in very good condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
