The Kawasaki Ki-32 "Mary" was a single-engine, two-seat mid-wing monoplane light bomber designed in 1936 to meet a Japanese Army Air Force requirement for a replacement for the then obsolete Ki-3.  The Ki-32 was maneuverable and popular with its crews but suffered reliability problems from its liquid-cooled V12 engine.  The Ki-32 had the following operational characteristics: 1) Top speed of just over 260 mph; 2) Range of just over 1,200 miles and 3) Service ceiling of just over 29,000 feet.  The Ki-32 carried two .303 caliber machine guns and a bomb load of almost 1,000 pounds.  A total of 854 Ki-32's were manufactured with most seeing active service in China from late 1938 until the outbreak of war with America on December 7, 1941.  Shortly after Japan's entry into World War II, most Ki-32s were removed from frontline service and relegated to second line units.  This older Kawasaki Ki-32 "Mary" scaled model includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for a Ki-32 flown by the Japanese Army Air Force; 2) Basic cockpit; 3) Clear vacuform canopy; 4) Recessed panel lines; 5) Spinning propeller and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in very good condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
