The Ki-67 Hiryu Type 4 Heavy Bomber (Allied code name Peggy) was a twin-engine, medium bomber produced primarily by Mitsubishi for use by the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy Air Forces during World War II.  Approximately 770 Ki-67 bombers of all variants were built before production ceased at the end of World War II.  The Ki-67 carried a crew of between six and eight airmen and was designed to carry a bomb or torpedo load of approximately 2,400 pounds.  The operational characteristics of the Ki-67 are as follows: 1) Top speed of just over 330 m.p.h.; 2) Combat range of approximately 2,400 miles and 3) Service ceiling of 31,000 feet.  This highly detail Ki-67 Hiryu (Peggy) Japanese Army Heavy Bomber Type-4 scaled model includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force as flown by the 74th Group - 1st Squadron, 14th Group - 1st Squadron, 60th Group - 2nd Squadron, 98th Group - 1st Squadron and 110th Group - 1st Squadron on bombing missions during World War II; 2) Bombs and bomb handling equipment; 3) Clear cockpit and fuselage glass areas; 4) Detailed radial engines; 5) Detailed landing gear; 6) Fuel service truck with 2 soldiers; 7) Recessed panel lines; 8) Rivet detail; 9) Six seated crew figures; 10) Paint Guide in color and 11) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
