The plot of the movie, King Solomon's Mines, centers on Jesse Huston's search through the darkest Africa for her father who went missing while looking for Africa's fabled diamond mines of King Solomon.  The heroin sets out on her search with the legendary soldier of fortune known as Allan Quartermain.  The pair wage a cross-country battle to reach the mines ahead of a bloodthirsty adversary and his German partners.  While enroute, the pair plunge into a wild succession of heart-punding episodes as they tangle with hungry cannibals,  giant spiders, lava pits and quicksand.  Aginst this backdrop the two adventurers even mange to find enough time to fall in love.  This movie came from the same classic novel that inspired Raiders Of The Lost Ark.  If you like Indiana Jones in the Raiders Of The Lost Ark, you are sure to want to see Allan Quartermain in the movie King Solomon's Mines.  Starring Richard Chamberlain, Sharon Stone and Herbert Lom among others.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1985.  Runtime 100 minutes.
