The LVG. Roland VIb was a single place, single engine, bi-plane fighter developed by Luft-Fahrzeug-Gesellschaft (L.F.G.) for use by the German Empire during the last year of World War I. Approximately 350 units were completed before the end of World War I. The operational characteristics of the Roland VIb are as follows: 1) Top speed of approximately 125 m.p.h.; 2) Combat endurance of 2 hours and 3) Service ceiling of 19,000 feet. The Roland VIb was armed with two 7.92 mm machine guns. This rare, limited run LVG. Roland VIb model, is molded in gray plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for an aircraft operated by the Imperial German Air Force late in World War I; 2) Crisp molding; 3) Excellent surface detail; 4) Two white metal machine guns and 5) Illustrated assembly instructions. The package is in like new condition. Never started and 100% complete with all parts and instructions inventoried.
