 The Lavochkin La-7 was a single seat, radial engined fighter manufactured by Lavochkin OKB and flown by the Soviet Air Force during World War II.  It represented the final evolution of the La-5 and before that the LaGG-1 which was originally introduced in 1938.  When production ceased, just over 5,700 of all variants had been produced.  The operational characteristics of the La-7 are as follows: 1) Top speed of about 420 m.p.h.; 2) Combat range just over 600 miles and 3) Service Ceiling of approximately 31,000.  The La-7 carried two 20 mm cannon and up to 440 lbs of bombs mounted on racks below the fuselage.  This older La-7 model  is molded in gray plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for an aircraft oeprated by the Soviet Air Force during World War II; 2) Clear plastic canopy; 3) Clear plastic display stand; 4) Painting guide and 5) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like new condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
