The Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk was designed and deployed as a sub-sonic bomber with very low radar signature for penetration of enemy air space. First deployed during the invasion of Panama, it subsequently was used to great effect in Operation Desert Storm, the balkans conflicts and in the second gulf war with Iraq. This kit allows you to build the following variants: 1) blue and grey camoflage as flown by the U.S. Airforce out of Tonopah Base, 53rd Test and Evaluation Group, Detachment 1, U.S.A.F., 2003; 2) 37th Fighter Wing, Air Combat Command, Tonopah Air Base (Flown by Squadron Leader Chris Topham, R.A.F.), 1991 and 3) 37th Tactical Fighter Wing, Tactical Air Command, U.S.A.F., 1991. Never started and factory sealed.
