The Macchic C. 202 was the most successful and best known Italian fighter produced and operated during World War II.  The Macchi C. 202 was comparable in performance to early versions of both the German Bf-109 and the British Spitfire fighters which were its contemporaries in World War II. The development of the Macchi C. 202, along with its more refined stable mate, the Macchi C. 205 Veltro is outlined in detail.  Included in this edition are many black and white photographs, 35 line drawings and 12 full color profiles.  This book is 50 pages and is in very good condition.  The authors are Roberto Gentilli and Luigi Gorena with Don Greer (illustrations).  Edition published in 1980.
