This postcard depicts a busy city street scene in Norfolk, Virginia.  The postcard scene includes buildings on either side of Norfolk's main-street and is full of horse-drawn carriages and buggies along with several electric streetcars.  Also, of interest are the many people walking through the street scene dressed in early 20th century garments.  The legend on the back of this postcard reads: "One of Norfolk's busy thoroughfares in the heart of the business section".  This postcard has the word main-street writen in pencil within two brackets on the backside and is identified by the number A-16981.  It is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall excellent condition with only slight wear evident on the four corners.
