The movie, Maverick: Point Blank, is an episode that finds the lead character, Bret Maveric on the run from angry citizens from a town where he has apparently worn out his welcome.  He arrives in the town of Bent Forks to look for a fine meal and a hot bath but quickly finds himself on the wrong side of the law in the local jail.  When a jailhouse angel uses her influence to free him, he can not help but wonder why?  As the plot unfolds, only the woman and a conniving banker know the answer and they do not intend to reveal their secret until he is too long dead to do anything about it.  Starring James Garner, Mike Connors and Karen Steele among others.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1957.  Runtime 46 minutes.
