The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19 is a Soviet second generation, single seat, jet-engined fighter aircraft capable of supersonic speeds in level flight. A total of approximately 8,500 MiG-19s were produced and they saw service with a number of national air forces, including Cuba, North Vietnam, Egypt, Pakistan and North Korea. The aircraft saw combat during the Vietnam War, the 1967 Six Day War and the 1971 Bangladeah War. The book, MiG-19 Farmer In Action (Number 143) includes the following chapters / sections: 1) Introduction; 2) MiG-19 Farmer A; 3) MiG-19P Farmer B; 4) MiG-19S Farmer C; 5) MiG-19PM Farmer E; 6) Shenyang J-6 / F-6 and 7) JJ-6 / FT-6 Trainer. Included in this book are many period black and white photographs, 12 color aircraft profiles and numerous black and white line drawings. This book is 58 pages and is in like new condition.
