The MiG-25, (N.A.T.O. code name Foxbat). is a high-speed interceptor and reconnaissance fighter/bomber aircraft designed for the former Soviet Union Air Force by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau.  The MiG-25 Foxbat was introduced in 1970 and to date almost 1,200 have been produced.  The primary users of this aircraft are the Algerian, Russian and Syrian Air Forces.  The operational characteristics of the MiG-25 are as follows: 1) Top speed of just under 2,200 m.p.h.; 2) Combat range of about 1,100 miles and 3) Service ceiling of approximately 68,000 feet.  The MiG-25's armament consists of two radar guided air-to-air missiles and two infrared-guided missiles.  This older MiG-25 Foxbat model is molded in light gray plastic, is 8 1/8 inches long when complete and includes the following other features: 1) Authentic markings for an aircraft operated by the former Soviet Union during the Cold War; 2) Clear plastic canopy; 3) Detailed landing gear; 4) Four AA-6 Acrid air-to-air missiles; 5) Recessed panel lines and 6) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
