The movie, Midway, is a World War II epic drama about the great air and naval battle in which the United States Navy, outnumbered by a huge Japanese naval task force, won the battle and began the long road back to victory. Leading them to their heroic victory is Admiral Nimitz and Captain Matt Garth, the latter a junior officer whose life is complicated by his son's romance with a Japanese-American girl.  Although this movie recycles film footage from the earlier released movie Tora, Tora, Tora, it still is an action drama well worth watching.  Starring Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda and Glenn Ford among others.  Widescreen in color.  Released in 1976.  Runtime 132 minutes.
