The German Panzer Grenadier Divisions in World War II were highly motorized infantry divisions that were organized as combined arms formations, usually with six battalions of truck or half-track mounted infantry organized into two to three regiments, a battalion of tanks and a normal division's complement of anti-tank & anti-aircraft artillery, artillery, combat engineers and reconnaissance units.  Unlike the German infantry in World War I, which either marched or were carried into battle by horse drawn wagons, the German Panzer Grenadiers of World War II were highly mobile, which allowed them to closely follow behind Panzer tank advances into enemy territory.  This highly detailed German Panzer Grenadiers set of World War II era soldiers includes eight different multi-position mechanized infantry soldiers.  In addition to the actual Panzer Grenadier soldiers, this scaled model includes the following items: 1) Ammunition bags; 2) Canteens; 2) Food kit; 3) Helmets; 4) Knapsacks; 5) Knives; 6) Personal insignias; 7) Pistol holster; 8) Shovels; 9) Sleeping bags; 10) Rifles and 11) Submachine guns.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
