 The Mitsubishi G3M Type 96 (Allied code name Nell) was a twin engine, land-based attack aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force primarily to bomb Chinese targets in the late 1930s up through the end of World War II.  The G3M1 Nell was introduced in the mid-1930s and soldiered on to the end of the war in 1945.  The G3M1 Nell carried a cew of seven and had the following operational characteristics: 1) Top speed of just over 200 m.p.h.; 2) Combat range of approximately 2,700 miles and 3) Service ceiling of about 30,000 feet.  The G3M1 Nell carried one 20 mm cannon and four 7.7 mm machine guns as defensive armament and could carry a bomb load or torpedo of just under 1,800 lbs.  This older, out-of-production Mitsubishi G3M1 Type 96 Mk. 11 / Mk. 21 Nell model is molded in gray and black plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for a G3M1 Nell flown by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force during World War II; 2) Clear cockpit and fuselage glass areas; 3) Detailed cockpit; 4) Four bombs; 5) One torpedo; 6) Recessed panel lines; 7) Two crew figures; 8) Paint guide and 9) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like-new condition.   Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
