The Mitsubishi Ki-15 was Japanese two seat, single engined reconnaissance aircraft and light attack bomber that was deployed in both the second Sino-Japanese War and World War II.  Although it was initially used as a fast mail plane, this cantilever monoplane which had a fixed undercarriage was quickly adopted by the Japanese Army Air Force and later the Japanese Navy and was code named "Babs" by the Allies.  When production ended, approximately 500 units of all versions of the Ki-15 had been built with the majority in first line service when World War II began.  By 1943, however, the Ki-15 had been relegated to second-line uses with a sizable number of the remaining units being utilized in Kamikaze attacks in the closing months of the war.  This 1980s kit represents a Japanese Army Type-97-I commandant reconnaissance plane and is overall an accurate scale repesentation of this aircraft.  The box has a tear on the top but is in otherwise very good condition.   Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
