This postcard depicts the Indianapolis Municipal Airport as seen from the vantage point of the tarmac.  The combination hanger and tower are shown in various shades of brown with a blue sky and white clouds in the background.  The legend on the back of the postcard reads "Located on the southwest edge of the city, this airport is one of the largest and best equipped in the nation, covering 1,000 acres.  It is open 24 hours a day and serves airlines radiating to all parts of the country".  This post card is referred to as a "Natural Color Postcard", has the identity number 15489 and was manufactured by E. C. Kropp Co. Milwaukee, Wis..  This postcard contains no writing, is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall excellent condition with a trace of wear on the four corners.
