As of 1994, the Mustang Mach III was Ford's most impressive concept car in the preceeding 25 years. The Mustang Mach III was first revealed to the public at the 1993 Detroit International Auto Show. The Mach III concept car had a custom interior, sweeping curves and featured a supercharged 4.6 Liter DOHA V-8 engine that generated 450 horsepower. While the 1994 production Mustang's styling was not as radical as the Mach III concept car similarities did abound. Also, although the 1994 Mustang did not initially have as an option the supercharged 4.6 Liter DOHA V-8 engine found in the concept car, a similar engine was made available in subsequent model years. This older, out-of-production 89 piece Mustang Mach III concept car scaled model includes the following features: 1) Clear plastic glass areas; 2) Complete chassis detail with 4-wheel disc brakes; 3) Custom state-of-the-art interior and dash panel; 4) Detailed supercharged 4.6 Liter, 4 cam V-8 engine; 5) Hood can be displayed in the closed or open position; 6) Molded in red with plated parts; 7) vinyl blackwall low profile tires and 8) Illustrated assembly instructions. The box is in excellent condition. Never started and factory sealed.
