 The Kawasaki Ki-45 Toryu (Allied code name Nick) was a two seat, twin engined fighter used by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.  The Ki-45 was introduced in 1941 and when finally retired at the end of World War II almost 1,400 examples of all variants had been produced.  The Ki-45's operational characteristics are as follows: 1) Top speed of just under 340 m.p.h.; 2) Combat range of approximately 1,200 miles and 3) Service ceiling of almost 33,000 feet.  The Ki-45 could carry a variety of 12.7 mm machine guns, as well as, 20, 37 and 40 mm cannons.  This older, out-of-production, "Nick" Twin Engine Scout (HO Pocket Servies) model is molded in gray plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for an aircraft operated by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II; 2) Detailed landing gear; 3) Recessed panel lines; 4) Two piece canopy molded in clear plastic and 5) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like new condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
