The movie, No Name On The Bullet (Western Collection) is a suspensful drama set in a small Southwestern town.  The plot centers on a young, quiet gunman named John Gant who arrives in the town of Lordsburg with his reputation as a ruthless paid assassin having proceeded him.  Gant has thusfar escaped being jailed because of his knack to always get his targets to draw first in a gunfight thus enabling him to claim self-defense.  His arrival sets the town buzzing as to who he has come to kill and soon paranoia starts to take its toll on the citizens of Lordsburg.  Violence erupts and relationships become strained as the tension mounts.  The ending of this very interesting movie is not one that the viewer of the film might have predicted.  This movie is also interesting in that it has the star actor, Audie Murphy, playing the bad guy throughout the film.  Starring Audie Murphy, Joan Evans and Charles Drake among others.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1959.  Runtime 77 minutes.
