The book, North American Mustang In RAF - RAAF - SAAF - RCAF & Foreign Service (No. - 3) is part of the Arco-Aircam Aviation Series of publications dedicated to reviewing each famous aircraft with documented black and white vintage photographs, color side view illustrations and color aircraft unit insignia.  This book departs from many others that have been written about the North American P-51 Mustang in that it focuses on the operational use of this legendary fighter by a number of foreign air forces.  This pictorial survey, the second on the Mustang, contains as of the late 1960s, the largest and most varied selection of photographs of this aircraft in "foreign service" ever published.  The major sections of this book are as follows: 1) Mustang I And II In R.A.F. Service; 2) The Mustang III; 3) The Mustang III And IV With The R.A.F. In Western Europe; 4) The Mustang III And IV With The R.A.F., R.A.A.F. And S.A.A.F. In The Mediterranean and 5) The Mustang In Other Air Forces.  This last section takes a look at the P-51 Mustang as operated by the air forces of the following countries: 1) France; 2) Sweden; 3) Switzerland; 4) Italy; 5) Israel; 6) Philippines; 7) Dominca; 8) Indonesia; 9) China; 10) Somalia and 11) Many other South and Central American countries.  In addition to an informative narrative and relevant photographs captions this book includes the following features: 1) Approximately 135 black and white photographs; 2) 8 black and white aircraft side profiles; 3) 48 color aircraft side profiles and 4) 4 pages of camouflage markings.  This book will certainly appeal to both the aviation enthusiast and modeler alike.  This book is 48 pages and is in fair condition.  The author is Chritopher F. Shores with Richard Ward (illustrations).  Edition published in 1968.
