The movie, North To Alaska, is a rousing comedy-adventure set in the late 19th Century Alaska gold rush finds buddies Sam and George hitting the mother lode in Nome.  George then asks Sam to go and get his sweetheart Jennie in Seatlle.  When Sam arrives in Seatlle and discovers that she has already married someone else he concocts a plan to bring George a new love, inviting a beautiful dancer to be Jennie's replacement.  This movie is a must see for John Wayne fans as this role was a dramatic change from the typical film featuring the "Duke".  Starring John Wayne, Stewart Granger and Ernie Kovacs among others.  Widescreen in color.  Released in 1960.  Runtime 122 minutes.
