 This postcard depicts one of the largest steam locomotives ever manufactured.  It was used for handling Ore Trains on the Duluth, Missabe and Northern Railroad.  This large steam locomotive is shown on railroad tracks and is not attached to any cargo or passenger cars.  It is set against a background of a vivid blue and white sky.  It is identified as number R-56833 and referred to as a "C. T. Photochrom" card.  This postcard contains no writing, is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall very good condition with only slight wear on the four corners.
