The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was one of the great American aircraft of World War II.  While initially developed in 1936, it continued to evolve until it reached the late-war J variant which possessed great speed, power, altitude capability, maneuverability and reliability.  This detailed kit of the P-38J is now out of production but represents an excellent kit of this famed twin engined fighter.  Never started and factory sealed with all parts, decals and instructions.
