The versatile P-39Q which is the subject of this model represented the final production variant.  It featured two .50 cal underwing machine gun pods and a extended range fuel drop tank.  Included in this kit are weighted down tires, crew figures and white metal detail parts.  Authentic decals are included for the following two aircraft: 1) SNOOKS 2nd piloted by Captain William Shomo from the 82nd Tactical Recon Squadron of the 71st Tactical Recon Group and 2) "Tarawa Boom De-Ay" piloted by Major Joseph Powell of the 72nd Fighter Squadron, 21 st Fighter Group. Also, included in this package are the following aftermarket parts: 1) Scaled Allison V-1710 engine from Czech Master's kits; 2) Crystal clear canopy from the Squadron Shop; 3) P-39D Airacobra metal detail set from True Details and 4) P-39 Wheel Set including two main wheels and one nose wheel from True Details .  The box is in very good condition.  Never started and  100 % complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
