The P-40 B was the best United States single engined fighter availble at the time of Pearl Harbor.  The P-40 blazed across the skies of China flown by the famed Amerian Volunteer Group (AVG) also known as the Flying Tigers.  The P-40 was made famous by General Claire Chenault as part of the AVG but was also flown by many other nations including the Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force.  This model was boxed in the early 1990s.  This older P-40 B Tiger Shark kit is molded in olive drab plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for an aircraft operated by the Flying Tigers, the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Corps; 2) Clear plastic canopy that can be built in the open or closed position; 3) Detail landing gear; 4) Fuel drop tank; 5) Pilot figure; 6) Recessed panel lines; 7) Separate flaps; 8) Painting guide and 9) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like-new condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
