 This kit of the "Pacific Theater" Seafire XV is an accurate representation of the naval variant of the famous Spitfire and was powered by the Griffon engine giving it a top speed of 392 m.p.h..  The Seafire XV entered service with the fleet air arm in May, 1945 and remained in service until the 1950s.  The Royal Canadian Navy Air Arm used two squadrons of this fighter from 1945 to 1949.  The Seafire's armament consisted of two 20mm cannon and four .303 machine guns.  This older, "Pacific Theater" Seafire XV model includes the following features: 1) Authentic decals provided for a Seafire XV flown in the Pacific Theater by a Commonwealth country during the last months of World War II; 2) Clear canopy; 3) Detailed cockpit; 4) Detailed landing gear; 5) Recessed panel lines; 6) Paint guide and 7) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like-new condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
