The Panzerkampfwagen II was a light German tank used in great numbers at the beginning of World War II.  Its use was most prominent during the Polish and French campaigns.  It was produced as an interim solution while more powerful medium and heavy tanks were being developed. The Panzerkampfwagen II was manufactured between 1935 and 1943.  By the time production ceased mid-way through World War II, just-under 1,900 units of all variants had been built.  The Panzerkampfwagen II carried a crew of three including a commander, driver and gunner.  This tank was armed with a 2 cm rapid fire cannon originally designed as a light anti-aircraft gun, as well as, one fixed 7.92 mm machine gun.  This older, out-of-production Panzerkampfwagen II F/G scaled model includes the following features: 1) 1) Authentic markings for a Panzerkampfwagen II F/G used by the German Wehrmacht during World War II; 2) Crewman molded in green colored plastic; 3) Detailed chassis; 4) Detailed engine; 5) Detailed hull; 6) Molded in dark gray colored plastic; 7) Separately molded tan barrels, boxes & fuel tanks and 8) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
