The movie, Pearl Harbor (60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition), is an unforgettable epic motion picture that focuses on World War II's devastating impact on two daring young American pilots. Astounding audio and visual effects put you at the center of the event that changed the world, December 7th, 1941, "a date which will live in infamy". In the lead-up to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the lives of the two young pilots follow diiferent paths after graduating as cadet pilots in the United States Army Air Corps (U.S.A.A.C.). Soon after graduating, one pilot heads off to England to fly as an American member of the Eagle Squadron while the other stays in the the U.S.A.A.C. and ships-out to Wheeler Field, Hawaii. Soon, the Eagle pilot is reported missing somewhere over the English Channel and before long his love interest who is a Navy nurse becomes romatically involved with the pilot who had shipped out to Hawaii. The two pilots are reunited on the eve of the Japanese attack and must face their own personal issues plus fight off the Japanese on Deceber 7th, 1941. Later the two train and eventually fly as part of the B-25 Mitchell raid on Japan in 1942. In the end, Pearl Harbor is a moving reenactment of the "date which will live in infamy" and is a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who lived thorugh this extraordinary historical event.
