The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom is a two seat, twin-engined, all-weather, long-range supersonic fighter bomber that was initially introduced during the Vietnam War but continued in service with the U.S.A.F., U.S. Marines and U.S. Navy well into the 1990s. Late stage variants of the F-4 were modified to provide reconnaissance and "wild weasel" electronic counter measure roles up through the 1991 Gulf War. The F-4 was widely exported to many countries including Australia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Turkey and the United Kingdom. The M and K variants of the Phantom were produced exclusively for the British military re-engined with Rolls-Royce Spey turbofans. This older, out-of-production kit is quality engineered in three colors. Authentic decals are included for the following three aircraft: 1) Phantom F-4 M, No. 6 Squadron R.A.F. (The Flying Canopeners), Coningsby, Lincs, 1973; 2) Phantom F-4K, No. 892 Squadron, Royal Navy, October, 1969 (Detached to the U.S.S.
