The Porsche 917 is the now legendary racecar that allowed Porsche to win the 24 hour road race at Le Mans in both 1970 and 1971.  The Porsche 917 limited series of cars were powered by 4.5, 4.9 and 5.0 Liter engines.  The 5.0 Liter powered version could reach top speeds of up to 240 m.p.h.  The Porsche 917 incorporates a welded light-weight alloy frame with a fiberglass body.  This older, out-of-production model is part of MPC's "European Racing Series" of car kits, is molded in white colored plastic, and includes the following features: 1) Authentic race markings for the famous number 7 car; 2) Bucket seat; 3) Clear plastic glass areas; 4) Detailed interior; 5)Detailed rear-end with suspension and wide tires; 6) Disc brakes; 7) Multi-position driver; 8) Racing wheels; 9) Painting guide and 10) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in excellent condition.   Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
