Boeing delivered their first B-17 Fs on May 30, 1942 just two days after the last of over 500 B-17 Es had rolled off the assembly line.  The book, Pride Of Seattle, tells the story of the first 300 B-17 Fs to enter the United States Army Air Corps.  Their use overseas in England, as well as, the Mediterranean and Pacific combat theaters is explored in detail.  In addition to an informative text this book includes the following: 1) Many vintage black and white photographs; 2) Numerous black and white line illustrations and 3) Eight pages of color illustrations.  This book is 64 pages.  The author is Steve Birdsall.  Edition published in 1998.
