Approximately 13,000 Austin K.2 Ambulances were produced and used by the Allies during World War II.  The vast majority were produced and used in England during the war.  The K.2 ambulance was often deployed in conjunction with a crash tender based on the Austin K.6 chasis.  Both of these vehicle models can be used in conjunction with either 1/72 or 1/76 scaled models to create a realistic airfield diorama.  This model package includes an Austin K.2 Ambulance, Crash tender and a number of firefighting crew.  Also included are illustrated assembly instructions and authentic markings.  The box is in very good condition with original packaging tape on the sides of the box.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
