The central plot of the movie Raid On Rommel centers on a British intelligence officer, posing as a high-ranking Nazi who leads a ragtag group of Allied POWs on an impossible mission to infiltrate and destory an African Corps fuel dump near Tobruk.  This exciting World War II desert adventure which is based on the real-life story of Tobruk has the Allied soldiers battling Nazi Panzer Divisions, destroying fuel dumps and making a suicidal assault on Rommel's infamous gun enplacement that if not destroyed could sink the British fleet operating off-shore.  This movie is currently not in production which means there are very few copies available.  Starring Richard Burton, John Colicos and Wolfgang Preiss among others.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1971.  Runtime 98 minutes.
