The movie, Red Dawn, opens with the startling scene of Cuban and Russian paratroopers landing on the varsity football field of an otherwise ordinary western American high school.  As the students local town is overrun by these enemy soldiers eight of their number escape to the mountains.  Taking the name of their football team, the Wolverines, they begin to wage a "guerilla" action in defense of their captured parents, their friends and their country.  In the end, this action packed "reality check" is thrilling entertainment at its best.  Starring Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen and C.
