The film documentary, Reel Moments: An Inside Look At Fighter Aces of WWII tells the story of the pilots who changed the course of World War II through the perspective of the personal remembrances of the following four United States Army Air Corps pilots: 1) Major Richard Peterson; 2) Captain William O'Brian; 3) Colonel Clarence Anderson and General Thomas Hayes.  These American fighter pilots, who were all aces (five or more air victories), were members of the Air Force's legendary 357th Fighter Group.  While the 357th Fighter Group's primary mission was to escort American B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator bombers on their long-range strategic bombing runs over various European targets, the pilot's of the 357th Fighter Group were allowed to seek out targets of opportunity which served to further weaken Nazi Germany's hold over Europe once the bombers had made their runs and were well on their way back to their bases in England.  This documentary film combines interesting archival footage, including gun camera film, along with the fascinating stories of these airmen.  The viewer of this video will better understand the rare combination of eyesight, talent, training, luck and pure guts that was necessary to become an American flying ace in World War II.  This documentary film is full screen in black & white and color.  No release date given.  Runtime 48 minutes.
