The movie, Sahara, is a World War II era film about a desperate retreat across the Sahara in Libya by an American tank crew and Allied and Axis stragglers they find along the way.  Along their desperate journey, the soldiers capture a dessert fortress containing a much-needed fresh water supply but must in turn defend it against a detachment of German soldiers intent on securing the water for themselves.  This picture was nominated for 3 Acadamy Awards including Best (Black and White) Cinematography.  Starring Humphrey Bogart, Bruce Bennett and Dan Duryea among others.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1943.  Runtime 97 minutes.
