The Sd. Kfz. 171 Pz. Kpfw. V Panther Ausf. A was arguably the best German medium tank to come out of World War II.  After surviving initial "teething" pains the Panther became a relatively fast and reliable cross country tank that included a 75 mm high velocity gun as its main armament.  The panther tank served with distinction in the Italian, Russian and Western European combat theaters.  This accurately scaled Panther tank model includes authentic german markings for the following five tanks: 1) 1st Pz. Rgt, 1st Pz. Div., Normandy, June 1944; 2) 1st Abt. 6th Pz. Rgt, Pz Lehr Div., Normandy, June 1944; 3) 5th Pz Rgt, 5th Pz. Div., Russia 1944; 4) 1st Abt, 4th Pz. Rgt, Italy, May 1944 and 5) 1st Abt, 4th Pz. Rgt, Rimini, Italy, September 1944.  Also included in this model are the following: 1) Detailed upper hull; 2) Two "link-and-length" tracks; 3) Separately molded hatches and tools; 4) Illustrated assembly instructions and 5) Suitable for the "Alzo Zero" gaming system.  Never started and factory sealed.
