The Hawker Sea Fury was developed for the Royal Navy during World War II but did not enter service until after the end of that conflict.  The Sea Fury was the fastest piston-engined fighter to serve with the Commonwealth armed forces and began entering service in 1945.  Deliveries to the Royal Canadian Navy began in 1947 and by the beginning of the Korean War, Sea Furies from a number of Commonwealth countries were regularly engaging enemy aircraft and ground targets in that conflict.  In fact, a Sea Fury from No. 802 Squadron Fleet Air Arm shot down the first MiG-15 jet fighter off Korean waters in 1952.  Sea Furies served with the Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Australian Navy, as well as, the air forces of many other countries including those of Iraq and Pakistan.  This older Hawker Sea Fury F. B. Mk II kit is molded in light gray plastic and includes the following features: 1) Authentic markings for the Royal Navy, the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Australian Navy; 2) Clear plastic canopy; 3) Five bladed propeller; 4) Photo-etched detail parts; 5) Recessed panel lines; 6) Paint guide and 7) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The model box is in like-new condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
