The movie, Shadows Of Tombstone, centers on Sheriff  Webb who is running for reelection in the town of Shadow Rock.  It soon becomes clear that the sheriff is "crooked" and scheming with the local gambling house boss Mike Jessup to do whatever it takes to win reelection.  Into this fray enters  a rugged, young rancher who decides to set things right by running against the sheriff.  With the help of his friends Slim a cowboy and Marge the local newspaper editor, the young rancher is eventually able to expose the "crooked" dealings between Sheriff Webb and Mike Jessup which allows him to easily win the election and become Shadow Rocks new sheriff.  Starring Rex Allen, Slim Pickens and Jeanne Cooper.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1953.  Run time 54 minutes.
