The movie, Shalako, is a unique Western that centers on a party of European aristocrats who are on a hunting safari in New Mexico in the 1880's.  They are traveling with all the amenities including butlers, maids, fine linens, dining room table and chairs along with fine vintage wines.  When their safari is led onto an Indian reservation, which is a treaty violation, Countess Irina LaZaar is attacked by an Apache brave.  Shalako, a scout for the United States Army, happens across the path of the hunting party and without regard for his own life, attempts to save the countess and lead the group out of the Indian reservation.  With the Apache Indians ready to strike, each member of the hunting party faces the greatest crisis of their lives.  Starring Sean Connery, Brigitte Bardot and Stephen Boyd among others.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1968.  Runtime 113 minutes.
