The M4A1 General Sherman tank was the most widely used allied tank during World War II.  The M4A1 was an uprated version introduced in 1944 and carried a much improved 76 mm main gun.  The heavier gun along with the Sherman's mobility and numerical superiority enabled it to effectively deal with enemy armor in combat.  This older model of the American M4 Sherman MK1 medium tank includes the following: 1) A traversing turrent and elevating gun; 2) Detailed road wheels with seperate suspension arms and 3)  Single piece flexible rubber type tracks.  The box is in investment quality condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
